Flavonoids (flavonoids) are secondary metabolites of plants, including a variety of oxyglycoflavones and carbon glycoflavones. Carbon glycoside flavone refers to the glycosyl group directly connected to the flavonoid matrix by C- C bond. It is reported in the literature that these compounds have a series of effects such as vasodilating, anticancer, antiplatelet and antiarrhythmic. From a structural point of view, iso-vitexin belongs to the active substance of carbon glycoside flavonoids, which is widely found in the roots, stems, leaves, bark, fruits and seeds of dozens of plants in nature. The existing relevant data show that IV has a variety of pharmacological activities, including hypoglycemic, antibacterial, memory regulation, α-glucosidase inhibition, blood pressure lowering and antioxidant effects.
